We booked Lois to look after our Saluki, Archie for two days whilst we had a mini break in Scotland. After being a little nervous at first about leaving him, Lois quickly put us, and Archie, at ease. We received regular updates, with pictures, showing that Archie was totally relaxed and having a great time. When we returned, the house was just as tidy as when we left and Archie had clearly enjoyed being with his new house guest. We will definitely call on Lois again and have no hesitation in fully recommending her services. Certainly Archie will be voting for being at home with Lois, rather than spending lonely days and nights in a kennel!
Lois walks our bulldog, Betty every week. Betty isn’t what you would call overly enthusiastic when it comes to walks but Lois has persevered and they now have great fun together. She always keeps us updated with their walk with plenty of pictures and anything she thinks we might need to know. You can tell she really cares about the dogs and they are 100% her priority when they’re in her care. Would definitely recommend.
Lois is just fantastic! Our rescue boxer dog we took on nearly a year ago absolutely adores her and can’t wait to go out with her. He can be reactive with other dogs, but this did not deter Lois from taking him on. She has continued working on reducing this with him, without any concerns at all. I cannot recommend Lois highly enough, stop searching and give her a call!
My dogs love seeing Lois and have enjoyed every walk she has taken them. I just say her name and they rush to see her. A blessing for me knowing they have a lovely time and return happy and tired.
I can 100% recommend Dog Days Northumberland. Lois has looked after our two Lurchers a couple of times now and she is brilliant with them. She totally understands how they need to be handled on walks (one of ours can be dog reactive and the other is nervous of new situations). They both loved her looking after them and judging by the photos Lois kindly sent to us they didn’t miss us at all. It’s really lovely being able to go away for a couple of nights not worrying about them as I know they are in safe hands. Pumps and Harvey are looking forward to seeing Aunty Lois again next month.
I cannot thank Lois @ Dog Days Northumberland enough for looking after Buddy for me today. When planning our holiday we realised that not all the places we wanted to visit were dog friendly and instead of missing out our holiday rental recommended Dog Days Northumberland.
After checking out the facebook page l knew this was the perfect solution as Buddy would be cared for in the holiday home for a few hours and taken for a walk.
Communication was excellent throughout.
Buddy’s tail was wagging the moment he met Lois and i was reassured he would be well looked after.
